I.A.C. (inglese al computer)
This is a simple online tool to help English learners and teachers build grammar and vocabulary tests.
How do I use it?
Everything's quite user-friendly. You'll find a form with a set of checkboxes. Give it a try!
What kind of tests does it allow to make?
Six types of exercises are available so far:
If the database contains any entries which correspond to your search, the output will return some sentences/words for your exercises.
Please note that the database used to retrieve the entries is still under development. Some grammar topics are far from being complete...
OK, I've tried it.
The output returns a list of sentences marked by prefixes (such as 'abc', 'error', 'cloze', ...). Why?
So it's easier to understand which exercise type each entry corresponds to.
Sometimes the output returns just a few lines. Sometimes none.
The database which contains the exercises is not very large. That's why few or no entries might be returned when you search for a specific topic. Feel free to contribute to make the collection bigger!
I like it. Can I install it on my PC and use it offline?

If you are interested in downloading the source .php files, you can find them here. Running the .php files on your local server won't be enough. You'll need the database containing the exercises. Please, e-mail me for further information about that:
How can I contribute to the project?
Creating the database is a very time-consuming task. Contact me if you want to add new data and functionalities.
If you wish, you can make a donation to support the work I will be doing in the future:
